More rooms, stronger position: Quality Hotel Luleå transformed

The addition of 28 guest rooms and a comprehensive refurbishment have strengthened the hotel's position in one of Northern Sweden's most dynamic markets.

Quality Hotel Luleå has completed a major transformation, enhancing both its capacity and overall guest offering. Through the creation of 28 new guest rooms and the refurbishment of key public areas, the hotel is better positioned to serve a growing market and support the region's continued development.

Located in the heart of Luleå, the hotel has long been an important meeting place for visitors and local residents. As business activity in Northern Sweden continues to increase, Pandox and Strawberry saw an opportunity to further strengthen the property's competitiveness and long-term relevance.

Creating additional capacity

One of the most significant elements of the project was the conversion of previously underutilised space into 28 new guest rooms. By rethinking how existing areas were used, the hotel has increased its room inventory and created greater flexibility for conferences, corporate groups and leisure travellers.

The new rooms strengthen the hotel's ability to accommodate larger volumes while making better use of the property's existing footprint.

"A stronger hotel product for guests"

"Creating additional rooms while simultaneously upgrading the overall hotel experience is a great example of how we work to strengthen the competitiveness of our properties over time. The result is a stronger hotel product for guests, a better platform for the operator and a more attractive asset for the long term"

Strengthening the overall hotel offering

Alongside the new rooms, several public areas throughout the hotel have been upgraded. The lobby, conference facilities, wellness area, pool and gym have all been refurbished to strengthen the overall guest experience and support the hotel's position as a leading meeting place in central Luleå.

The hotel has also introduced Strawberry's restaurant concept The Social Bar & Bistro, creating a vibrant social hub for both hotel guests and local residents.

Positioned for the future

The transformation comes at a time when Luleå and the wider Northern Sweden region are experiencing strong growth, driven by investments in industry, infrastructure and technology. As the region continues to attract businesses, projects and visitors, the hotel is well positioned to capture future opportunities.
