Hotel Twentyseven in Copenhagen, which Pandox took over the operation of in April 2020, is facing an upcoming renovation.

In connection with this, the hotel has decided to donate the no longer needed electronics and furniture to charity.

The electronics - including 200 TVs but also pillows and blankets - will be sent to Ghana via the entrepreneur Allswell Nii Nuer Leire-Mensah. His organization focuses on helping children who are outside of the community as well as on schools in smaller villages.

All furniture from the rooms has been donated to the Red Cross to support their purpose in helping the needy in society, including lonely elderly people who through the Red Cross' voluntary organization get someone to talk to.

"For us, it was an easy decision to donate our furniture to organizations that help people to have a better everyday life. We wanted to help the needy both here at home in Copenhagen but also in other countries. Our priority is always to reuse the products internally, but when this is not possible, it is important to us that the furniture will continue to be useful. Recycling is an idea we also have with us when we renovate our hotel and in our daily operations”, says Ola Larsson, Hotel Manager på Hotel Twentyseven.
